This second time 2 days before Hurricane Milton is supposed to make landfall they came and fixed/rewound wires(I think it was wires lol). They came within a couple hours of being called! Gateway replaced my 16 ft under door threshold on my garage door on Wednesday the day after my phone call for service. He completed the repair in about 40 minutes. After installing he adjusted the down door pressure to the rubber seal on my concrete floor. Everything works like new. He also lubricated the rollers. Excellent job. Best garage door repairman ever! I accidentally reversed my car into the door and contacted over 10 companies. Three of them came by and all said I had to replace the panel, quoting over $1,000. Then I reached out to Gateway. He assured me it was repairable without needing a new panel. In less than 30 minutes, he fixed it and charged only $100. The result is almost perfect. Exceptional Customer Service!! My house is 20 years old and right at the point that many things have to be replaced. I have had a hard time finding quality contractors. That was not the case with Gateway. When I contacted Jeremy it was 1:30 pm. I have to recognize and praise the service that I recently got from Jeremy with Gateway Garage Door Services. We had a cable break which rendered the door inoperable. My wife’s car was in the garage and she had an appointment in a couple hours, so we called Jeremy. I explained the situation to him and he said no problem, he was finishing up a job and said he would be at our place within 90 minutes. Jeremy arrived ahead of his 90 minute window, he looked at the issue and immediately started correcting it. It only took him a few minutes to repair it and get it back in working order. I truly appreciate a repair service that does exactly what they said they would do and shows up when they say, or in this case ahead of schedule. So I will fast forward a few weeks, I called him and inquired about a couple of new garage doors (insulated) as our doors are old, we have a 3 car garage so that meant 2 new doors. Jeremy gave me the quote as asked however it was not in the budget. However Jeremy said my doors were in great shape and he suggested that if they were his doors he would insulate them both, replace the rollers as well as the weatherstripping on the bottom of the doors. So I asked him what that would cost? Jeremy got back with me within an hour and gave me a great quote for the work. I gave him the go ahead to do the work and asked for a timeline, he said he was booked for the next 2 weeks, I said no worries and please schedule the work. Jeremy called me a couple days before the work and said he was picking up the supplies the next day and would be out to take care of our doors. Jeremy is a hard worker and very knowledgeable and skilled, he showed up again exactly as he said and took care of my doors. He installed a high quality insulation kit on both doors and replaced all rollers and both weatherstrips on the doors. I am very pleased with the results. The insulation definitely was effective, on the hot days the garage is cooler inside and in those cold nights we have had, it’s definitely warmer inside. The difference is noticeable. Made an appointment for next day service and he was early, evaluated the problem, made the repair and the garage door is even more quiet than it was before! My garage door wasn’t working properly for the past few months and I saw a Facebook post of someone else looking for help. Gateway had commented and I hopped on to ask for their help, too. Jeremy showed up exactly when he said he would - which was after working hours - with a truck full of equipment.
